Just recently my family embarked on a huge road trip where we covered 3 states in one day- California, Nevada, and Utah.
Because we were on a tight schedule and wanted to arrive at our final destination as soon as possible, it meant that our stops were minimal at best. We kept stops just for gas fill-ups and bathroom breaks, and kept the car full of breakfast, lunch and snack options.
Keeping better options for snacks in the car is ideal as it keeps our children from getting burnt out on the trip. One of our favorite car snacks are Yoplait Go-Gurt yogurts. Since Go-Gurt yogurts are made to carry with you, it is the perfect option on a road trip as you don’t need to bring a spoon. Less mess, and less garbage.
We headed to our local Walmart the day before and picked up a box. That night we stuck 8 tubes of Go-Gurt’s in the freezer and packed them the morning of our road trip. By the time the kids were ready for lunch, the Go-Gurt’s were perfectly thawed and ready to eat.
Our road trip led us to Park City, Utah, where hiking trails surrounded us. We had some leftover Go-Gurt tubes and since they are convenient for on-the-go, we also used them while going on our hiking adventures. It was the perfect fuel our kids needed to get them up the mountain.
Yolplait Go-Gurt’s come in 16 yummy flavors. You can visit https://goo.gl/Yeu06R to see which is best for your family.
Where will your summer adventures take you?
