How do you feel about your abs this morning?
Go ahead and take a look at your belly, and then answer. Or, if you’re like me, don’t answer and just glare instead. (Believe me, almost all mamas share your sentiments!)
So why don’t we spend a couple of minutes incorporating some new abs workouts into your routine? Thanks to the amazing folks at Body Rock TV, today’s workout is short, sweet and right to the point. Watch the video and get ready to hurt!
What I love about today’s workout is the focus on the lower abs.
The lower abdominal muscles are the trickiest to firm up on post-baby bellies and it can be really hard to figure out what the heck to do to impact them at all. The crunch + leg lifts on that trunk? Those are PERFECT! If you don’t have a trunk or a solid coffee table, you can still do the exercise on the floor, but if you can find a (safe) way to allow for your legs to go down lower than your core, that’s the best!
Remember if you’re just getting started to not get discouraged if you don’t see immediate results. This quote has been floating around Pinterest and its great to keep this in mind!
