I recently helped throw a shower for a close friend and had so much fun planning it that I compiled my ideas to share with you.
Table Runner: I went to the fabric store and chose a cute baby-themed fabric. Since I don’t own a sewing machine, I turned the fabric over to my mom.
Banner: Another easy, but cute way to decorate. I cut triangles out of scrapbooking paper (buy at your local craft store), then punched two holes in the top of each triangle. I strung ribbon through the holes and hung.
Tissue Poofballs: I originally saw these at MarthaStewart.com. Learn how to make them here. These easy, cheap decorations made the room super festive.
The Favors: These were my favorites. In fact, I devoted a whole blog on how to make these beauties!
The Diaper Cake: Roll about 60-70 diapers up, and start building your “cake” around a big bottle of baby shampoo. You’ll need lots of rubber bands for this centerpiece.
The Real Cake: Baby’s grandma came up with this clever idea. Since we didn’t have a specific theme, she took the cute shower napkins to the bakery
