I am always on the hunt for the perfect summer drink. A drink I can enjoy while sitting on my backyard patio taking in that perfect summer breeze that hits our home in California. With strawberries being my favorite summer fruit I try and incorporate it in as many recipes as I can, especially cocktails.
During the summer my husband and I like to use the BBQ as much as possible and needed a simple drink to make while we grilled our chicken kabobs. Since we had tequila sitting in our pantry, I knew it had to be a drink we could make with it. So combine my craving for strawberries and there was the perfect time to try out a new strawberry margarita recipe I had in mind.
The strawberry margarita was an incredibly easy drink to make. It was delicious, refreshing and guilt-free since the ingredients were all natural, minus the alcohol of course. I would make the strawberry margaritas again in a heart beat, maybe next time I will incorporate some pomegranate juice to give it a little tart kick. YUM!
