Some Rules Were Meant To Be Broken…
My husband and I have been married 4 years now, and try to live by most of the “relationship rules”. We each married our best friend, we try to work our problems out before going to bed, and we are open and honest with each other about everything….well, ALMOST everything.
While he thinks he’s being sneaky, my husband does hide something from me and I’m not quite sure why.
He’s a very crafty fellow. He builds and fixes everything, and has our entire house electronically connected! While I love it, it sometimes gets a little crazy with all the new projects going on in my garage. So when I come home and there’s three empty shipping boxes in my garbage can, all I can do is roll my eyes. That’s right. My husband hides his project purchases. I’m not sure why. I’m a very understanding wife, and I do LOVE that our home is full of the most up-to-date electronics built by the man of my dreams. But I am not in charge of finances, so when he buys new parts or even a full speaker system it is all a secret to me until it’s built and installed- I’m guessing to avoid me pulling the plug on the project? I don’t know, but I love that he sneaks the purchases, even though he knows I’ll find out.
Not one relationship is perfect, and some of the “relationship rules” are meant to be broken.
