Last weekend I stayed in Palo Alto, California, which is in the heart of Silicon Valley. I have driven through before, but this was the first time I really got a chance to explore.

We stayed at the Creekside Inn, which is located just a close drive away from University Avenue, where all the amazing restaurants and shops are.

Our room, which was the Creekside Suite, featured a separate bedroom, living room, and even our own kitchenette.

The suite was extremely spacious and relaxing that I even contemplated staying in and making dinner from our very own stove.

One of my absolute favorite features from the room has to be the in-room tablet that is located next to the bed. There you can stream music from Pandora, contact the front desk, order room service, access all the amenities the Creekside Inn has to offer, and even order a crib. Yes, a crib! We tried this feature out and in less than 10 minutes a nice pack-and-play was delivered to our door.

While the Creekside Inn doesn’t have a restaurant located inside, there is one located on the property grounds called Cibo. That is where the food comes from when you order room service. Creekside Inn also has a great deli and market on the grounds where you can get pre-made sandwiches, soups, buy drinks and more.

The Creekside Inn was unlike any hotel I have ever stayed in. It felt more like luxurious apartments surrounded by beautiful nature. I loved the flowers, bridge and fountain. It was an amazing way to disconnect from the hustle of city life and enjoy the beauty that is Silicon Valley.
