Sometimes it can be hard to think of snacks for kids, especially when you’re in a hurry! Here’s a great list of snacks that all involve fruit or vegetables for your children when hunger strikes!

  • Frozen grape-cicles 
  • Fruit kabobs
  • Veggie trays made into cute animals with dip
  • Banana caterpillar
  • Apples with peanut butter
  • Carrot fries
  • Veggies with flavored cream cheese
  • “Ants on a log”-celery with peanut butter and raisins
  • Fruit salad
  • Add fresh fruit to plain yogurt
  • Slice of toast with peanut butter and slices of banana
  • Any fruit or veggie with a simple side such as animal crackers, cheese or granola bars
  • Fruit pops
  • Fresh fruit/veggie smoothies
  • Veggies in individual cups with dip at the bottom
  • Bananas with Nutella
  • Frozen peas-Trust me with this one! Kids love picking them up one at a time and eating frozen peas!
  • Chocolate dipped fruit-just dip one end of the fruit in chocolate for an extra sweet treat!
  • Dried fruits such as cherries, bananas or other berries-Especially great in a trail mix with Cheerios!
  • Nilla Wafers with banana slices and peanut butter (or Nutella), this also works well with strawberries!
