It’s a Party, it’s a party, it’s a SPA PARTY! I recently put together a SPA Party for my niece that was turning 11. Since my daughter is only 6, I was not sure what to do for an 11 year old’s birthday. When I had the last minute idea to throw a full out pampered Spa retreat for the girls. I’m not sure who had more fun, the girls or me planning this. I had less than 24 hours to put this party together, and I am thrilled with all the DIY and ideas I found online and on Pinterest.
Dessert Table & Treats
I normally make my tassel streamers, but I found these on clearance for half off at Target for $3.99! You can’t even make them for that price.
I found these adorable “spa party” toppers at Hobby Lobby. Dipped powdered donuts in pink chocolate, covered with sprinkles and Wal-ah!
I was able to find these adorable cookies that matched the purple and pink these on sale. One of the benefits of a February birthday, or any holiday birthday is stocking up on the sales right after.
These Nail Polish bottles were a hit! Made with just a few ingredients. Marshmallows, tootsie rolls, a bit of frosting to make them stick and frosting spray to color them. The frosting spray is edible and I purchased that as well at my local Hobby Lobby.
Rice Krispie Treats meets Trix cereal equals Trix Krispies with a side of amazing-ness! This is the first time I have made these and they were gone it a total of 3.5 seconds, literally. I wanted something colorful to go with the theme and not only did they go with the rest of the decor, they were delicious. Made the exact same way you make Rice Krispies, just with Trix Cereal.
I used Table cloths as backdrops and streamed them across, best idea ever! It covers so much space and they were only $.99 at the dollar store. The pink table is from Hobby Lobby as well and was perfect!
Mason Jars were purchased at Hobby Lobby as well as the Gold Filler and Glitter. I used adhesive spray on the cups and then dipped in Martha Stewart Gold to give them a little sparkle.
The Lipstick pens, glasses and accessories are all from the party section at Hobby Lobby.
I found these buckets and rugs for only $1 at the Dollar Tree. The Flips flops are from Old Navy.
I wanted to give the birthday girl something to special to wear at the party so I made this tee, which literally took five minutes. I used gold fabric spray and stencils. “Happy Girls Are The Prettiest”
Liam is just testing out his foot spa, you know, to make sure its not too “hot”. His “Hey Girl” tee is from one of my favorite Etsy shops, Hey You Apparel .
Kayla, so excited for her party!
While the girls soaked their feet for their pedicures we got the hair accessories and polish ready. Spoiled much???
I made an organic face mask for kids using, honey, yogurt & banana. Not only is it easy on the skin but it smells delicious too!
We had our hair and nail station at the same table and there was three of us to take care everything for the girls.
I picked up most of the nail polishes and accessories at TJ Maxx, Marshalls & Target. I always look for sales.
After we were finished we did a quick photoshoot outside. The Birthday girl opened up some new clothes for her photo shoot and with her hair/nails done she was glammed up ready to go!
This was such a FUN party! Probably one of the most I have done yet. Everyone including the adults had a great time and the birthday girl felt extra spoiled on her special day.
