Look, up in the sky! It’s a cat. It’s an owl. It’s a gecko. It’s the PJ Masks – and it’s Time to Be a Hero!
This Friday, September 18, 2015, is the world premiere of a new kid’s show— PJ Masks.
The premiere season of the colorful and inventive new CGI-animated series from Entertainment One features 52 eleven-minute episodes that follow 6-year-old Connor, Amaya and Greg, who transform into their dynamic superhero alter egos, Catboy, Owlette and Gekko, when they put on their pajamas at night and activate their special animal amulets. Together the three friends embark on action-packed capers, solving mysteries, having thrilling nighttime adventures and learning valuable life lessons all along the way.
With its distinctive look and laudable mission of helping kids discover their own unique “inner superhero,” PJ Masks has all the right stuff to empower preschoolers and be a real hit with today’s families. Young viewers will love the show’s courageous, instantly-endearing characters combined with its focus on adventure and discovery. Parents and caregivers will appreciate PJ Masks’ emphasis on the importance of friendship and teamwork along with imaginative play and creative problem-solving the PJ Masks way – without the “kapows” and “thwacks” found in older superhero shows!
PJ Masks is produced by eOne, the company behind the worldwide hit Peppa Pig, and Frog Box in collaboration with the award-winning French animation studio TeamTO, along with Disney Junior and France 5. The uniqueshow is based on French author Romuald Racioppo’s imaginative and striking picture book series “Les Pyjamasques.” A much-loved publishing property in its native France, where the books debuted in 2008, the series currently includes 15 titles with plans for two new releases every year.
This Friday stay tuned as PJ Masks will have back-to-back episodes launching at 11am and 11:30am on the Disney Junior block on Disney Channel. Following the show’s debut, PJ Masks will air on Fridays at 11am on Disney Junior on Disney Channel. Episodes will also encore on weekends at 10am and 7:30pm on Disney Junior the Channel (24-hour channel).

Hi Diane, I think I will be attempting to do a DIY on this. Will keep you posted.
Disney should really make the merchandise before coming out with the tv shows . We ran into this same problem with sheriff Callie and my daughters bday party last year. Oh mommy problems ! ?
Same here! I am online looking for a costume now. He wants to be the blue character:-)
Tutorial will be up tomorrow!
I bought the masks off Etsy and I bought some footie pajamas to match the colors and then we are just gonna make a tail and the chest emblem.

I will be so glad when this show is more well known. My grandson’s love it and I’ve been trying to find clothing items with the PJ Masks characters on them and it’s impossible.
So my 2 year old son is convinced that he is Cat boy and he goes into a catatonic yet excited beyond belief state when this show comes on. Screaming the intro lyrics and then drawn into complete silence during this show I. If I left him alone I can be sure that he is not playing in the toilet while this show is on because he doesnt move a muscle lol. I dont really do Halloween with him but I am trying to prepare for christmas and I have absolutely no luck right now finding merch for this show I even called up disney headquarters lol no luck Etsy has a few bits an peieces at this point I need a DVD and I’d even be a little satisfied with a poster for my son lol… I wonder how long it will take Disney to wise up and TAKE MY MONEY! lol
Just as a suggestion, my kids are VERY little- almost 5, almost 2, and 8 months. The 5 and 2 year old LOVE pj masks and the oldest is stoked to be able to be the PJ masks for Halloween with his brother and sister. The thing is, they’re really small and finding those bodysuits in their sizes is completely impossible. A long sleeved t-shirt won’t work either because my oldest really wants it to look just like the cartoon! So, instead of using the lycra bodysuits, I searched for solid colored footed pjs on amazon. Score! I think they’ll work great and my oldest approves 🙂 So, if you’re having trouble finding the size or look you want, check out the footed pjs!
YES! Thanks Victoria! These bodysuits are definitely made more for the older kids, thanks so much for the idea for the younger toddlers!!
i am looking for pj masks toys – but I can’t find any
Hi Connie, unfortunately these kids shows are introduced before toys are made. Toys are usually sold once the show is a success (usually about a year later). This has happened a lot lately, it seems the studios don’t want to take a loss on the show AND a ton of premade toys too. Understandable but no less frustrating as a parent of a fan!
My 3yr son loves pj masks. He wants pj masks toys for Xmas. When or where could I find these toys for Xmas?
As far as we know, there are no PJ Masks toys available. The show just premiered in September, and we assume that with it’s popularity there will be toys coming out soon!
