As a mom to two kids, I have forgotten what it is like to have a solid night’s sleep. Since I can remember, my sleep has always been broken up from kids needing to use the restroom, having a nightmare or wanting to nurse. When 8 pm rolls around I want nothing more than to let my head hit the pillow because I am that exhausted. But surely enough, even if I wanted to get some quality sleep, I could never get comfortable enough to. My back and neck always seemed to be more sore than they were when I went to sleep. It wasn’t until I started sleeping on my new Sleep Number AirFit™ Adjustable Pillow that I realized the importance of having a great quality pillow.
The AirFit™ Adjustable Pillow combines the support and comfort of air with the personalization of adjustability to provide the most individualized sleep experience possible. The AirFit™ Pillow features a uniquely adjustable air chamber at its core. It allows users to simply turn the dial located on the corner of the pillow, relax in their favorite sleeping position, and let the pillow adjust to their ideal level of support and alignment.
The AirFit™ Adjustable Pillow is truly life-changing! I can’t begin to explain how many pillows we have gone through in only a couple of years. I have been on the hunt to find the perfect pillow but found faults in all of them. Some being too firm, some too soft, some clumpy, some just plain awful. The amount of money spent searching for the right pillow is pretty embarrassing. I honestly never knew that there was a pillow out there that allowed the owner to completely customize the pillow to their needs, wants and desires.
Sleep Number has been dedicated to providing personalized support and comfort in their mattresses for over 25 years. Their goal is to improve lives by individualizing sleep experience and that is exactly what they have proven to do time and time again.
If you were like me and woke up with a stiff neck and sore back, there are a few things you should take into consideration:
- Before purchasing a new mattress thinking it’ll help your sleeping situation, rethink it! Many times it is your pillow that actually needs to be replaced and not your mattress.
- A pillow should be replaced every 2-3 years
- Your head, neck and shoulders should be fully aligned when laying on your pillow and mattress.
- Whenever you replace your mattress, you should replace your pillows as well.
The AirFit™ Adjustable Pillow is available in three incredible options: CoolFit Foam, Memory Fiber and European White Goose Down. You can head to their website, www.sleepnumber.com, to learn more about each pillow or visit your local Sleep Number store to get fitted for your next AirFit™ Adjustable Pillow.
