Last week I was invited by Nissan and the Chicago Auto Show to head to Chicago for a few exciting days of Chicago Auto Show’s media preview days and their first public opening day. I had attended the Chicago Auto Show media days last year, but this year was my first experience at their public show. You can read all about it here: http://bit.ly/18dfEkv.
Nissan kicked off the evening before the first media preview day with an incredible reception where they introduced us to the GT-R LM Nismo race car.
Seriously, how beautiful is this car? It makes me want to hit the track and race this bad boy! If you may be thinking you recognize it, it is probably because you do from the Nissan Super Bowl commercial. You know, the commercial where almost every mom cried during because it showed the bond between a father and his son.
During the media preview day, Nissan unveiled the world premier of the 370Z NISMO Roadster concept car:
This flawless concept car boasts a 3.7 liter V6 engine with 350 horsepower. The exterior features LED daytime running lights and red trim found around the car, including the side mirror covers. Make your way inside the vehicle and you will be impressed with the black Recaro seats, with off-white suede inserts and red contrast stitching.
“While the 370Z NISMO roadster concept is just a performance study at this point, you can see its potential as a production model,” said Fred Diaz, Senior Vice President, Nissan Sales & Marketing and Operations U.S., Nissan North America. “First, we’ve injected all the performance equipment from a 370Z NISMO coupe. Inside, since the interior is on display whenever the top is down, it features the full NISMO treatment, as well as a few special custom touches.”
During the first public day we witnessed crowds of people interested in the all-new 2015 Nissan Murano.
The 2015 Nissan Murano was beautifully displayed at the Chicago Auto Show. Families were able to hop inside and get a feel for the vehicle. We stopped many people and asked what their first impression was and many said similar things: the seats were extremely comfortable, they were impressed with the space inside, and that they could see themselves driving it. We have to say, that we completely agree! If you have’t seen the 2015 Nissan Murano, make some time to stop by your local dealership and check it out. Or, if you are in the Chicago area, visit the Chicago Auto Show this weekend and see it in all its gorgeous glory on display!
* Huge thanks to Nissan America for covering my costs so I could attend the Chicago Auto Show. All thoughts are my own.
