Curious George premieres its seventh season on PBS KIDS with an Australian adventure featuring special guest Bindi Irwin!
“Monkey Down Under” kicks off a full season of animal-themed Curious George episodes. Throughout the new season, George learns about a wide range of mammals, reptiles, insects and birds. Online, parents will find special activities to help satisfy their little monkey’s curiosity about animals. Parents can download “Exploring the World of Animals” for tips on identifying animals in their own neighborhoods. They can also print out George’s Butterfly Hide-and-Seek activity sheet for coloring butterflies and get the “Act Like an Animal!” activity, which helps children make a “critter catcher.”
We were lucky enough to preview Season 7 as a family, and my son was mesmerized by the silly little monkey, The Man with the Yellow Hat, and all of the fun animals! Miles absolutely loves the season premiere, “Monkey Down Under!” George and The Man with the Yellow Hat go on Australian Outback adventure, and Bindi Irwin is there to teach them all about koalas, emus, kangaroos and more!
He also loves the episode “Sir George and the Dragon,” airing December 4. George falls asleep and dreams that he is guarding a medieval castle, and needs to figure out how to keep the dragon out of the castle!
New episodes will air December 3, 4 and 5—two each day!
Curious George airs weekdays on PBS KIDS; check your local listings for times.
We were provided a DVD preview of Curious George Season 7, but all opinions are my own.
