Wholey’s Fish Market, located in Pittsburgh, PA–but delivering all over the US!–is kicking off it’s 5th annual ‘Count the Trout’ charity contest this month to benefit The Children’s Institute of Pittsburgh. A dollar donation gives you a guess at how many trout are in the live fish tank and the chance to win a $50 Wholey gift card for some of their delicious fish! All donations are matched by Wholey’s to help benefit all the great work being done at The Children’s Institute of Pittsburgh.
“By expanding and upgrading our live fish tanks, we hope to not only improve the shopping experience for our loyal customers, but to raise even more money for this amazing Pittsburgh organization, ” said Jim Wholey.
This year, the contest will match the excitement of the newly renovated area. All kids who guess the number of trout will receive a free balloon. In addition, Wholey’s will give gift cards away weekly to kids closest to the correct number.
“The generous support provided by Wholey’s over the years has made so much possible for the thousands of kids and families we serve,” said David Miles. “All of us at The Children’s Institute of Pittsburgh are proud to have Wholey’s as a partner in our amazing work!”
Wholey’s officially opened their renovated tank area and kicked off the Count the Trout charity contest on May 31–so there is still plenty of time to get your entry today! Take the kids on over, let them make their guesses, and give to a great cause while you buy the best fish in town!
