Can you believe summer is almost over? I can’t wait for the holiday season to get here— something about the baked goods and family time. However, with the fall weather approaching also means flu season is going to appear its ugly head. I swear every year growing up I was sick during Thanksgiving. While the rest of the family was laughing and enjoying each others company, I was laying on the couch trying to feel better. Once I became an adult and started having a family of my own I knew those days of being sick during the holiday season wouldn’t work. Have you ever been sick while being a mom? Yeah, we don’t get to lay around like we used to. Because of that reason there are a few necessities we keep stocked in our house. Items like Clorox Disinfecting Wipes, Bayer One-A-Day Multivitamin for my husband and myself, Flintstones Kids Gummy Multivitamins for the kids, and Tylenol Cold and Flu.
It’s important to not only keep ourselves healthy and keep our immune systems up, but we need to make sure we are killing the germs coming into our homes— especially when the kids come home from school. I swear by the Clorox Disinfecting Wipes and use them daily. However, sometimes the inevitable happens and we get sick. We can only try and prevent so much so when it does happen I like to be prepared. I am extremely picky about the medicine products I put into mine and my children’s bodies. There are seriously only a small handful I would ever use and Tylenol is at the top. I am being completely honest and real right now. If you look in my medicine cabinet you won’t see much. You’ll see the vitamins I listed above, some herbal tea, and three Tylenol products which include Tylenol Cold and Flu.
I can’t bare to be sick for too long with all I have going on so luckily Tylenol Cold and Flu has really helped me to feel better. I always use the non drowsy caplet form and within an hour I am feeling great enough to keep up with my children.
When flu season hits one thing worse than sick kids and a sick me is… a sick husband. Am I right? The day I hear the words “estoy enfermo” (I’m sick) come from my husband, I know it’s time to pull out the Tylenol Cold and Flu. I don’t have time for the “man flu” or as I call it “hombre enfermo.” How is it I can clean the house, take care of our children, and cook dinner all while battling a fever and cold but the minute he even has a runny nose he can barely get out of bed? Since I can only put up with him being sick for a short about of time (sorry husband) I’m thankful that Tylenol Cold and Flu relieves even his symptoms fast and he can even take some while at work.
I am some what of a wuss when it comes to taking pills. Seriously, the thought of having to take a “horse pill” sends me into anxiety mode. I am so thankful that the Tylenol Cold and Flu pills are smaller in size and easy to swallow. I have no problem taking these. However I am glad to share that if you are like me with pills, Tylenol also offers 5 different variations of liquid depending on your symptoms.
Keep your family healthy with the items listed above. You can purchase Tylenol Cold and Flu as well as the other items at your local Walmart— where the prices are always a bargain!
