As much fun as blogging is, when you are running it like a business, it can get extremely busy with press trips, article write-ups, appearances, and more.  The month of February was a big one for us at Simply Real Moms and we wouldn’t have survived without the Intel Powered ASUS Transformer Book Chi. It has been a huge lifesaver for this blogging mama. We attended the Chicago Auto Show, spent a weekend working in Carmel, San Francisco, and Napa, California.

When traveling as much as I have been doing sometimes working on-the-go is a must. Being a busy blogger, having just a notebook isn’t ideal. With the ASUS Transformer Book Chi being a 2 in 1, I can simply detach the keyboard and make it a tablet.

During a recent trip to San Francisco I was able to capture some great shots on the tablet mode of the ASUS Transformer Book Chi, edit them right from the tablet and share on our Instagram account.

Being able to switch from tablet mode to laptop is huge for me. Sometimes I need to use the ASUS with the keyboard attached and on desktop mode, but more often than not, being able to use it like a tablet has become extremely useful especially at press events. I can put the tablet in my purse, snap photos, tweet, Instagram, and Facebook social statuses as I need to get them out.

The ASUS Transformer Book Chi came with a 1-year subscription to Office 365, which I can’t begin to tell you how helpful it has been as a blogger. Many article drafts take place on Word, and I love that I have the option to continue writing articles (like this one) on my lightweight and compact notebook.  It has been a great way to keep me productive no matter where I am.  With Office 365, you get the latest versions of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and more.

Once my drafts are done on Word, I can click the Internet button, log into my blogging account and simply paste my draft and upload my photos straight from the ASUS Transformer Book Chi while at an airport or hotel.

Work as a blogger isn’t just business. Since I travel often, it is nice to know that when I need a break I can listen to some music, play a game or watch a movie with ease on the stunning WQHD display.  I have also been impressed with the IPS technology (in-plane switching), which has given me a clear view from any angle.
