In the summer, my family likes to make fruity desserts—so whipped cream on top is a must. Once you make your own whipped cream, you’ll never use the store-bought stuff again! It’s so easy to do, you’ll wonder why you haven’t been making your own for ages. It takes only three ingredients, one step and minutes to prepare. Try it tonight!
- Heavy Whipping Cream
- Vanilla
- Sugar
Step 1:
Add two cups of heavy whipping cream, one tablespoon of sugar and one teaspoon of vanilla in a bowl. Blend with a handheld blender until whipped. Do not over beat with blender or your cream will turn to butter!

I love whipped cream. I use one of those canned whippers with nitrous cartridges. 1 pint of heavy whipping cream and 1 oz vanilla syrup ( like Toranis) Pour the cream into the whipper and add the vanilla. Replace lid and put a cartridge on the top and screw in down until you hear the air release. Shake well and you have the best whipped cream ever. This is also how Starbucks makes their whipped cream. Yum
I’ve heard of people doing that because it stays ‘whipped’ longer!! I try to avoid the canned aspect and go for a more natural topping with this recipe, but I bet your recipe is great!
