I absolutely LOVE smoothies! Seriously. I cannot get enough of them! As I was pulling into a local coffee shop one morning for a smoothie, I stopped. Why wasn’t I making my own smoothies at home? What better way to put my favorite fruits and know every ingredient! This smoothie, Berry Banana Smoothie, is my favorite! I love making them for the whole family.
- Banana
- Frozen blueberries and strawberries (using frozen berries gives your smoothie that cool, refreshing burst)
- Handheld blender and cup
- Yogurt (vanilla or plain)
- V8 V-Fusion-flavor Pomegranate Blueberry*
*This is not necessary. I like the added flavor and the extra Vitamin E, A and C.
Steps:
- Cut the banana and put it in the cup.
- Add strawberries and blueberries.
- Add a few scoops of yogurt (this will vary depending on how thick you like your smoothie).
- Add a splash of V-Fusion juice.
- Blend until smooth.
- Enjoy!
