Are you looking for an all in one bag? The Fjallraven Kanken Daypack has all you need! I have been on the hunt for the perfect bag for quite some time now. As a mom of two, a runner, hiker, photographer and someone who is constantly on the go, I really needed a bag that fit my multitasking lifestyle. Finding a bag that was comfortable and stylish was quite the task.
I have been using the Kanken for a few months now and it is by far my favorite. It beats all of my baby bags and purses in durability, the construction is solid! A few reasons I love this backpack, its indestructible , strong and sturdy. It is made out of G-1000 fabric, tightly woven with excellent ventilation and water resistance for any weather type.
You will notice the straps can be worn as normal or buttoned up at the shoulders. It can also be switched up and with a snap of a button you can convert the backpack to a tote.
I also love that you have full access to the entire backpack making it very easy to find things. I am constantly losing items in my purse; I cannot tell you how frustrating it is to not be able to see inside. It is the perfect size for my 15” laptop and the extra padding has also been very helpful in supporting my cameral as well. The front pocket works perfectly for storing my accessories such as my memory cards, charger and even diapers. My very expensive camera bag isn’t even water proof!
A little history around Fjallraven: meaning ‘Arctic Fox’ in Swedish, this brand started making framed backpacks over 50 years ago and is known for specializing in outdoor equipment. What is a framed backpack? Framed backpacks were designed to carry heavy loads and support better weight distribution than a simple frameless strapped bag.
I am also a huge fan of any company that has a passion for animals. I love that they are working hard to save the Arctic fox from extinction, as you will see the emblem located at the top of each bag symbolizing this. If you are in the market for a new back definitely make sure you check out the Kanken.
