When I started planning my son, Sawyer’s, first birthday party I knew I wanted it to be fun, colorful and unique. That’s when it dawned on me—there is nothing more fun, colorful and unique than Dr. Seuss! With a Dr. Seuss-themed party, the possibilities were endless. It was so easy to find all the things we needed to make our ideas come to life. We found an amazing custom, printable birthday banner, tags and more from a great designer on Etsy that added the unique touch we were looking for. We spent a few hours making the colorful tissue paper pompoms, dipping oreos and pretzels in bright-colored chocolate and wrapping silverware in fun “Seussical” napkins with personalized birthday stickers. My mother-in-law made the amazing cake and cupcakes all from ideas found on Pinterest. With a few clicks on the internet and a trip to the craft store, we had everything we needed to turn our home into a “Seussical” Birthday funland! To top it all, we hired a caricature artist to give everyone a fun, personalized keepsake from Sawyer’s first birthday.
