Do you ever look at someone and wonder, “What is going on inside their head?” Meet the little voices inside your head in the new Disney-Pixar film Inside Out. Our entire family is so excited to see this movie! We are HUGE fans of the movie UP and have been anticipating “Inside Out” since the first teaser trailer released months ago.
The story is based on a character named Riley, who is going through a tough time growing up. Riley is uprooted from her Midwest life when her father starts a new job in San Francisco, that’s our city! (Its so cool to watch movies that feature city’s close to us. )
Like all of us, Riley is guided by her emotions – Joy (Amy Poehler), Fear (Bill Hader), Anger (Lewis Black), Disgust (Mindy Kaling) and Sadness (Phyllis Smith). The emotions live in Headquarters, the control center inside Riley’s mind, where they help advise her through everyday life. As Riley and her emotions struggle to adjust to a new life in San Francisco, turmoil ensues in Headquarters. Although Joy, Riley’s main and most important emotion, tries to keep things positive, the emotions conflict on how best to navigate a new city, house and school. Inside Out is due to be released June 19th, perfect family flick for Father’s Day Weekend.
