If you’re going to see a concert, you might as well make it memorable, right?

That’s exactly how I can describe seeing Carly Rae Jepsen in the middle of the ocean on the Carnival Splendor! Carly Rae Carnival Live 1The latest in Carnival’s CarnivalLIVE series of concerts, the Carly Rae Jepsen concert was the first of it’s kind in that it was free to all passengers on board. What a treat for the families on board to be treated to a full concert up close and personal!Carly Rae Carnival LIVE-8

The stage was set up on the Lido deck right next to the pool (and yep, people were swimming while they watched) and surrounded by the decks above that overlooked the pool. There wasn’t a bad seat in the house.Carly Rae Carnival LIVE-8

Carly came out and rocked the decks with an hour of her best hits and fan favorites. My personal favorite moment of the night was about halfway through the concert. Carly was singing “Making the Most of the Night” and the ship was hit with a rain storm. What a perfect moment to have the sky open up! She kept on singing and dancing in the rain and it literally stopped when the song did. That’s a moment that’s absolutely unforgettable.Carly Rae Carnival LIVE-18

Carly Rae Jepsen’s music took the Carnival fun ship to a whole new level of fun and the fans seemed to love the up close intimate experience with her.

Stay tuned for more information on upcoming Carnival LIVE sailings as well as a more in depth look at the rest of our FUN trip on the Carnival Splendor.
