Last week I was invited to attend a Viva® Vantage® live event. There, I was given information on the paper towels and a chance to put them to the test. We had several stations where we could use the Viva® Vantage® paper towels in: arts & crafts, drying stemware, washing produce, and eating greasy foods like bacon.
My first stop was the arts & crafts table. I absolutely love art and know how important paper towels can be while painting (especially since I tend to be a messy painter) so I couldn’t wait to see how they held up.

Luckily (for me), the paper towels were thick enough to not let the wet paint that dripped off the stem of my glass get even a drop onto the purple table cloth. Normally I wouldn’t just leave a paper towel in between paint and fabric, but Viva® Vantage® held its own and impressed me.

After arts & crafts, it was time to see what all the buzz was about surrounding washing produce. I heard that you can ditch the colander with Viva® Vantage® paper towels and I was curious to see how they worked as a strainer. Turns out they work incredibly well.
Viva® Vantage® paper towels are also excellent for drying your glass and stemware as it doesn’t leave all that nasty residue.
The last station I attended was the food station. There we had a make-your-own waffle bar, fruit, quiche and of course… BACON!! Even if you don’t eat bacon, you know how greasy it can be. The Viva® Vantage® paper towels soaked up the grease nicely and didn’t leave a mess on the plate underneath.
After the event, we were encouraged to try the Viva® Vantage® paper towels in our own home and try their 7-day switch up. I found there are so many great ways to use these paper towels then just the standard “after eating” use.
Here are 7 ways to switch up your paper towels:
- Substitute your shower towel with a few pieces of Viva® Vantage® paper towels. It will help reduce the frizz and dry your hair more quickly.
- Ditch the bulky colander in favor of a paper towel. Place fruit or veggies on a sheet of Viva® Vantage® paper towels under running water to function as a strainer, the stretchy-strength will keep the towel intact when wet.
- Viva® Vantage® has great scrubbing power and perfect for getting that grime off your stove.
- If you’re a fan of white wine and want it chilled quickly, skip the ice. Instead, wrap a damp paper towel around the bottle and put it in the freezer to chill rapidly.
- Keep lettuce fresh longer by wrapping a paper towel around the head of lettuce to soak up excess moisture.
- Scrub dirt off your potatoes, mushrooms, etc. with the scrubbing power of Viva® Vantage®.
- Hand wash and dry stemware using the cloth-like texture of Viva® Vantage® paper towels for a sparkling finish.
Often times mom’s get into their routines and can get stuck in a rut when it comes to the brand of paper towels, and the Viva® brand knows that. That’s why they’re encouraging us to “switch up” our current paper towel to Viva® Vantage®!
Commit to a “7-Day Switch Up” and see why more mom’s prefer the stretchy-strength of Viva® Vantage®, which was recently named a 2015 Product of the Year, over their current paper towel brand. After experiencing the stretchy-strength and great scrubbing power of Viva® Vantage®, you can head to their website to dish on your switch and enter for a chance to instantly win a $100 gift card.
