Easter is about to be here in just a few days. For my family, we have been doing alternatives to dyeing Easter eggs the past couple of years. No one eats the eggs afterwards and it seems to be a waste. Here are some alternatives you can do if you want to change things up for your family.
Glow in the Dark Plastic Eggs – Get some plastic eggs, put some mini glow sticks inside.
Decorate Egg Shaped Sugar Cookies – Cookies are always a good idea. Bake some cookies in the shape of an egg and let the littles have fun decorating them.
Make Rice Krispie Easter Eggs – Check out this recipe from Passion For Savings.
Print out Egg Cutouts and Let The Kids Paint Them – There are a ton of templates out there. Here are our favorites:
Build Easter Eggs Out Of Legos – Such a fun an creative way for kids who are older. Here is a great tutorial from Little Bins For Little Hands.
Chalkboard Eggs With Chalk Pens – Walmart sells these awesome chalkboard fillable eggs you can decorate with chalk pens, how fun is that?!
Easter Egg Bath Bombs – I am obsessed with bath bombs and these DIY Easter eggs ones from Lydi Out Loud are so cute!
Still wanting to decorate Easter eggs without the dye? Here are some ideas.
