It’s been over seven years since I had a newborn and I had forgotten all about how much time and attention they need. While I love to just sit there and hold my newborn all day long, there are things that need to get done around the house and times that we are out that I need both hands and can’t use a stroller.
With my (now) middle child I used a structured baby carrier but couldn’t really wear him comfortably while he was a newborn. I had heard great things about a MOBY Wrap so when I got pregnant with my third, I knew I just needed to try this miracle wrap out.
I’ll be honest, I was a little worried about putting the wrap on. By looking at it, I had no idea how to even turn it into a wrap to hold my little guy in, but it’s actually quite easy. It only took me one time of practicing to now know how to wrap it and be able to snuggle my son.
The material used to make the MOBY Wrap is pretty indescribable. It is something every person needs to feel for themselves. It’s extremely soft and breathable and definitely something I will be keeping to use as a scarf once my son is too big for me to wear him. Plus, it’s simply gorgeous.
MOBY Wrap has 15 different patterns to choose from, including designs by Petunia Pickle Bottom (which is one that I am featuring). Each wrap is a one-size-fits-all, and adjusts to grow from newborns starting at 8lbs, infants, and toddlers up to 30-35lbs depending on which wrap you choose.
The MOBY Wrap also:
- Offers front and hip carrying options
- Soft, breathable fabric
- Comfortable to wear for extended periods of time
- Machine washable
Not only is it completely comfortable to wear my son, I love the fact that his father can wear him also and get that extra bonding time in. It is so important while they are little to get that close contact and with the MOBY Wrap it makes it easy and stylish to do so.
We literally can put the wrap on in less than a few minutes and do what we need to do while our little guy sleeps comfortably. Plus, when he is fussing, the closeness of being in the MOBY Wrap helps soothe and relax him, which is a complete lifesaver.
The MOBY Wrap will run you $49.95 which is a great price for what you are gaining by wearing one. You can learn more about the MOBY Wrap by visiting: mobywrap.com.
