Mini Boden: Fashionable Clothing For Children
After having two boys, my once love for shopping turned into a headache. I could never find clothes that were stylish for them. It seemed that most clothing companies only focused on the frilly dresses and hair bows and would throw a handful of pieces into their “boy’s selection”— or lack thereof.
I remember sitting at work one day, going through the mail, and stumbled across a Mini Boden catalog. While flipping through the book I was shocked that I found myself thinking my sons’ must have these clothes. I had never felt that way over clothing for them before and I couldn’t wait to get some outfits. So you can imagine my shock when Boden approached me and asked if they could send me some pieces to review. It was as if they read my mind and a whole new level of excitement hit me.
I searched through pages and pages of boy’s clothing and honestly wanted everything that I saw. It was so refreshing to really see pieces that I wanted my kids to wear. Since we were heading to Cancun, I wanted some clothes they could wear while on vacation.
For my three year old, I chose the Crocodile printed Big Appliqué T-shirt and paired the shirt with the Tennis Green Cargo Shorts. This outfit was a huge hit while in Cancun and honestly fit my son’s personality.
The cargo shorts have to be one of my favorite pieces of clothing we have ever owned. Not only is it completely adorable, but the quality is superb. Both the shirt and shorts were definitely made with children in mind and I know it will hold up against the crazy adventures my toddler will put them through.
For my oldest, we got him something more versitile. Since he is nearing eight years old, we wanted to get him something he could wear by itself or under a button up. We got him a Goldfish Washed T-Shirt and a Pigeon Gingham Laundered Shirt (not pictured).
Both shirts can be dressed up or down and be paired together with a nice pair of jeans for the perfect outfit. Since we were in Cancun, where it was in the high 80’s, we decided not to take any pictures in the Laundered Shirt. However, if you follow us on Instagram, we will be sure to add a photo of the two shirts paired together on there.
The Washed Shirt has become our go-to shirt. As you can see, it is a shirt you can pair with almost anything!
One of my favorite things about ordering from Boden had nothing to do with clothing. Detail is everything to this company and it shows. With our shipment of Mini Boden we received the nicest set of pencils. Perfect for our little artists’.
