September is Baby Safety Month and while your children’s safety is always a parent’s number one priority, Baby Safety Month is a great time to really make sure you understand and know what needs to be known about keeping your baby as safe as possible!
Things like car seat safety, baby proofing from electrical outlets, medicines and household cleaners, water safety, furniture safety (anchor everything!) and toys/choking hazards are all so important to learn all about. You’d be surprised what you don’t know, and even us parenting advice givers learn new things all the time when it comes to the newest in baby safety!
One of my top recommendations for baby gear is a good quality video baby monitor. For me it’s all about peace of mind. I have one in each of the kids rooms (kids are all 6 and under) that I use when they’re sleeping and also when they are in there playing together. I love being able to peek in when I think I hear something but don’t accidentally wake the baby by opening the door. I can feel peace knowing I can check on my children and know they’re safe whenever I need to.
Currently, we have the Motorola MB854 Connect in the Nursery keeping an eye on our littlest guy. He only recently moved into the room because his older brother still needed the crib, and I am used to having him next to me and easily checked on at any time of night. We had been wanting to move him to his own room for quite some time because he just sleeps better when we aren’t in the room rustling around (or snoring!). It’s great that he can catch some extra zzzz’s, but the nursery is clear on the opposite side of the house from the master and even though he’s my third child, I still have anxiety about him being so far. I keep the monitor next to me on my nightstand and up as loud as it can go so I can hear and quickly check on him without disturbing his slumber. Having a camera and monitor with clear video night and day and extra features like two way talk, wifi connection and remote camera control to move it if needed helps make baby safety less of a concern. I know I can check in on him when I need and I don’t worry so much about my baby.
Check out the entire line of baby monitors available from Motorola. They are leaders in the industry and their reliable technology means you won’t have your monitor crap out on you in the middle of the night (when you need it to work the most!) and you can also see everything no matter what time of day or night-that image is crystal clear! Keep your kids safe and your mind at ease with a monitor from Motorola!
