Heavenly Fruit Parfait Dessert
Looking for the perfect summertime treat? Look no further! The fruit parfait is the perfect dessert—from barbeques to fancy dinners—that everyone will love every time.
- Black and red raspberries
- Sugar
- Vanilla
- Angel food cake or pound cake
- Heavy whipping cream
- Water
Step One:
Set aside a few raspberries to place in the parfait and decorate the top. Next, add one pint of fresh raspberries and one cup of water to a small saucepan. Stir on low heat, adding up to 1/2 cup of sugar (depending on the sweetness of the raspberries). Place in the refrigerator to cool.
Time to make your whipped cream: Use two cups of whipping cream, one tablespoon of sugar and one teaspoon of vanilla and mix with handheld mixer until whipped. Read the full recipe here.

Create layers of raspberry sauce, cake, extra berries and whipped cream in a parfait glass. On the top, add whipped cream and fresh raspberries. Delightful!
