Alice in Wonderland Party

For my daughter’s first birthday I chose an Alice in Wonderland theme. I’ve always loved the story, from the smiling Cheshire cat to the singing flowers, and I knew there were a ton of creative ways to pull this party together.

I began my search on Pinterest.com, and my vision quickly came together. I started crafting early so I wouldn’t feel overwhelmed right before her party, and my kitchen table was soon covered in flowers, duct tape, googly eyes, and glue. It was a lot of work, but I loved putting it all together so we could have a special memory of her very first birthday.

Throughout the week I will show you my favorite decorations and her outfits (yes, she had more than one).

Bobbi resides in Oklahoma City with her husband, daughter, and 14 crazy pets. She received her B.A. in psychology from the University of Oklahoma, and currently teaches senior English at an amazing charter school.  When she’s not enjoying her time teaching her students or chasing her toddler around, she is usually reading a good book or watching her favorite basketball team, The Oklahoma City Thunder.
