Once again Pinterest inspired, I decided to make a fall wreath. It was quick, easy, and turned out pretty cute! I got all of my materials at Michael’s craft store and the grand total… $16!
Here is a list of the materials you’ll need:
- 1 grapevine wreath
- 1 roll of burlap ribbon
- 1 small/medium wooden letter
- Acrylic paint (I used Americana- Burnt Orange)
- Artificial flowers (I used 1 bunch and four smaller twig-like filler pieces)
- 1 bread tie
- Hot glue gun
The first thing I did was paint my letter “D” so it had time to dry while I made the rest of the wreath with the orange acrylic paint. Then I took the burlap ribbon and loosely wrapped it around the wreath using hot glue to secure it into place (Mostly on the back of the wreath). I trimmed the artificial flower stems down, but left enough of it to weave through the grapevine wreath-add a little hot glue to keep them secure as well. Once my letter “D” was dry I hot glued a bread tie to the back and twisted it around the wreath- Just in case I wanted to move it around! Haha! Get creative and try different materials, ribbon for burlap, add a few feathers or maybe a few pinecones! Happy Fall Y’all!!!
