25 Days of Holiday Treats: Easy Crockpot Apple Cider

Every Christmas, we serve hot apple cider with Christmas dinner and it is always a hit. It is easy to make ahead of time and then just let it keep warm in your slow cooker for guests to enjoy at their leisure. It is also really good if you want to spice it up a bit and add champagne, enjoy!
Ingredients:
- 1 64 fluid ounce bottle apple cider
- 4 cinnamon sticks
- 1 teaspoon whole allspice
- 1 teaspoon whole cloves
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 coffee filter
- piece of string
Directions:
Step 1. Combine apple cider, brown sugar and cinnamon sticks in a slow cooker.
Step 2. Put whole allspice and cloves in a coffee filter and tie it closed with string. Place in the slow cooker and cook on low for 2-3 hours. Serve warm.
