If your child is ready for finger foods, try steering away from pre packaged options. Many times your baby can eat the same foods you are eating, so no need to worry about making a separate meal. Many healthy and natural options are available. Just remember to check with your child’s pediatrician before started them on any solids and finger foods.

- Avocado slices
- Cooked peas
- Banana slices
- Well-cooked Macaroni noodles
- Shredded chicken
- Ripe pears
- Soft baked sweet potatoes (you can also make them into fries)
- Cooked brocolli
- Shredded soft beef
- Shredded turkey
- Small chunks of cheddeer cheese
- Soft meatballs made with ground turkey or hamburger meat
- Ripe peaches
Ideally a lot of fruits and veggies can be used, just make sure they are soft enough for your baby to munch on and swallow.
