My mom has been making this Honey Mustard sauce for as long as I can remember on chicken breasts, and it is one of our family’s favorites by far.
I started making it with pork chops, and it is just so delicious and juicy! This has become one of the regulars in our menu rotation, and my boys eat it up fast!
This recipe does contain curry powder, but even if you’re not a curry fan I would suggest trying it once. I have had many people tell me they won’t eat curry, but are surprised that in this recipe it just adds a little extra something!
- 4 Boneless Pork Chops (or Chicken Breasts)
- ⅓ cup Honey
- ⅓ cup melted Butter
- 2 Tbsp Yellow Mustard
- 1 tsp Curry Powder
- Preheat oven to 350*
- Mix honey, butter, mustard and curry powder in a bowl.
- Place meat into a baking dish and pour your honey mustard sauce over the meat.
- Place into oven and cook for an hour, basting (scooping up sauce and pouring it over each pork chop or breast) every15-20 mins or so to give it a nice brown color.
I recommend cooking up some white rice while the meat is cooking, and mixing the leftover cooking sauce into the rice. It really makes the most delicious side, and you won’t want ANY of that yummy sauce to go to waste!
