SHOWS

Tournament of Kings, Excalibur

Tournament of Kings Featured
This Dinner & a Show is the perfect place to take kids of all ages for a night of jolly songs, delicious food and jousting! Our kids thouroughly enjoyed our evening there, and kids 3 and under are free (they have to sit on your lap and eat from your plate, but there is plenty of room and food for that!). This was by far our kids’ favorite thing, so don’t miss out! Check out our FULL review HERE

Circus Acts, Circus Circus

Circus Circus Acts

This is a FREE show, going on every day starting at 11 am. Kids enjoy things like the clowns, BMX display, juggling and more! Located on the center stage in the Carnival Midway (another great spot for the kiddos!)

Cirque du Soleil LOVE, Mirage

Love

If you’re wanting to check out a Cirque du Soleil show with your kids, this is the one to take them to! Who doesn’t love the Beatles music?!

Blue Man Group, Monte Carlo

The Blue Man Group will keep you and your kiddos entertained non stop with their hilarious antics and fun music/rhythm and dancing. Check out our friend Jen at The Mom Reviews thoughts on the show!

ATTRACTIONS

Bellagio Fountains, Bellagio

Bellagio Fountains

This completely free attraction may seem like a no-brainer when it comes to Las Vegas sights to see, but it can be really easy to miss. Take your kids by and wait for a show to start (especially when it’s dark!) and you won’t regret the wait! This water show is one of my favorite Las Vegas sights, and I’m always in awe when I watch with my kiddos!

Shark Reef, Mandalay Bay

Shark Reef Tunnel

This exhibit is too much fun! Filled with different sea creatures and even a whole room that looks and feels like you’re inside an underwater shipwreck, your kids will be amazed and won’t want to leave (mine didn’t want to!). There are two tunnels that give wonderful views of the sharks and fish, and even a manta ray petting pool! Check out our FULL review HERE

Titanic Artifact Exhibition, Luxor

Luxor_Titanic_The_Artifact_Exhibit_The_Big_Piece_low

The Volcano, Mirage

TheMirage Volcano

Another FREE attraction, but whoa is it impressive! It begins at 6:00 p.m. and runs every half hour until 11:00 p.m nightly. Your kids will love the bursts of fire and light in the night.

High Roller Ferris Wheel, The Linq

High Roller

This is quite the experience. The world’s tallest ferris wheel will give you a full view of the famous Las Vegas Strip and surrounding areas. While it’s gorgeous at night with all the lights, they do have a Family Hour on Saturday mornings that is only open to those with kids! From 10-11:30am, you are guaranteed to not be stuck in a pod with drunken partiers! The Family Hour package is $49 and it includes 2 adult and 3 child tickets, 3 binoculars and 3 juice boxes for the thirty minute ride!

Flamingo Wildlife Habitat, Flamingo

Flamingo Habitat

Take some time to go over to the Flamingo to see their 15-acre Habitat stocked with exotic birds, fish and turtles. This is a totally free attraction with tons of great photo opps all over!

Adventuredome, Circus Circus

Adventuredome

If your kids (and you!) are thrill seekers, Circus Circus has ana amazing indoor theme park with rollercoasters and rides for everyone! They even have Junior sized rides for the younger kiddos. Check out their website for height requirements.

Mermaids & Aquarium, Silverton

Silverton Mermaids

One of my son’s favorite stops in Las Vegas is the Silverton Casino. Not only do they have a huge Bass Pro Shop (have you ever been to one?! Oh man are they a little boy’s dream!) but also a giant aquarium that is FREE to see. Stick around to see one of their mermaids swim in the tanks…their schedule is in the linked site. The Silverton is off the strip, but there’s a  free Shuttle to and from the Ceasars Forum shops.

PLAY

Gameworks

gameworks

If your kids love a good arcade, check out Gameworks! No longer located right on the strip, they are just south of the strip now in the Town Square shopping center (don’t miss out on the AMAZING playground there too). This restaurant/arcade serves delicious food, (with tons of tvs for the sport enthusiasts!) and also has a small bowling alley inside! Make your kids’ night by taking them here for dinner and fun!

Red Rock Canyon Nat’l Conservation Area (day trip)

IMG_8173

Ls Vegas tends to be all flashing lights and loud fun, but just to the north west of the strip is a great place for some of the most gorgeous and stunning views! Red Rock Conservation Area is filled with all kinds of hiking trails for all levels of hikers, tons of amazing photo opps (do you see that adorable picture I took above?)  and wildlife all over. It’s definitely a bit of a drive from the strip, so set aside an entire morning or afternoon for this one.  Entrance fee is $7 per vehicle, free entrance with a National Parks and Federal Recreational Lands Pass

Discovery Children’s Museum

Discovery Children's Museum

Three-stories tall in stature, the DISCOVERY Children’s Museum 58,000-square-foot building is home to nine-themed exhibition halls with lots of interactive hands-on exhibits. The 5,000 square foot Featured Exhibitions Gallery is large enough to accommodate major exhibits from the nation’s leading museums. The new location is north of the strip and the perfect way to get inside out of the heat on a hot Las Vegas day!

Town Square Playground

Town Square Playground

Just south of the Strip (still on Las Vegas Blvd), you’ll find Town Square Shopping Center. This is a great spot to play for parents and kids alike, with the massive amount of shopping available and their extremely impressive playground! There are play houses, climbing structures and even a mini-maze! On a hot day, bring the kids’ suits along because there’s also a water pad with jets of water shooting up out of the ground! The perfect spot to bring your kids for some crazy fun.

Springs Preserve

Springs Preserve

The Springs Preserve is a great stop in Las Vegas to explore the area’s history through interactive science and nature exhibits, botanical gardens, hiking, trails, and live animal shows. They’ve got beautiful gardens and walking paths, a Museum and even train rides your kids will adore. There’s lots to see and do, and with rotating exhibits there’s always something new to see! (Kids 5 & Under are free!)

Red Rock Bowling Lanes, Red Rock

Red Rock Lanes

Take a break from the strip and head up to Red Rock Casino/Resort to go bowling! Sure, there are bowling alleys on the strip, but this is one you have to see to believe. This luxury bowling center is so impressive, and even has 12 lanes that are “VIP Suites”!

Whatever you decide to do while visiting “Sin City”, there are so many ways to make it family friendly and really give your kids the vacation experience of a lifetime!
