The one million dollar question… how can I keep my skin looking youthful? With so many skin care products out there it’s really hard to gauge what will work for you, and who really wants to spend the money trying to figure that out.

Over the last couple years I have been looking into making a switch into more natural products to use on both my children and myself and with that I found some great natural anti-aging regimens I just had to share. So if you are looking to keep your skin looking youthful, and don’t want to slather on chemical products, give these a chance. They may surprise you and leave your skin glowing.

Grape Seed Oil Extract– It’s been said that grape seed oil can help boost the level of antioxidants in your blood. Luckily for us you can get them in the form of a supplement. There has also been studies showing it protects collagen and elastin in your skin!

Paprika- Yes, that awesome seasoning you probably hardly use, actually has more than just a colorful benefit. Paprika is loaded with lots of antioxidants, as well as essential vitamins minerals that can keep your body healthy.  One of its vitamins is vitamin A that helps with healthy skin, like preventing the occurrence of wrinkles and brightens your complexion. Paprika also has a lot of vitamin B6and iron.

Witch Hazel- Witch Hazel is something that has been used for centuries. In fact, my grandma used it to clean her skin and she had incredible skin even at 90 years old. Witch Hazel has been used for acne, oily skin, skin sores, and more.

Almond Oil- Owing to the generous amounts of monounsaturated fatty acids, vitamin E, potassium, proteins, zinc, and a number of other vitamins and minerals that the seed and the oil contain, almond oil works wonders for the skin, hair, and health. To take it to another level, you can use sweet almond oil which is rich in vitamin E and K, so it helps your skin to regenerate and maintain elasticity. It is also a natural UV blocker, so it if you’re in the sun, it’ll be quite beneficial to you.

Coconut Oil- If you aren’t on the coconut oil train you need to be. There are so many uses for it. You can read our article to find out. Coconut Oil is full of anti-oxidant vitamin E and also comprised mainly of medium-chain triglyceride lauric acid, known to be one of the healthiest oils for your skin and body. Coconut oil is also a natural sunscreen.

Argan oil-  This oil is high in fatty acids which help to hydrate skin, restore elasticity, and fade fine lines and wrinkles.

Frankincense oil- A popular oil for good reason.  Frankincense oil helps to regenerate skin cells, reducing the appearance of scars, fine lines, and wrinkles.  Frankincense is also great for tightening up sagging skin, evening tone, and balancing skin’s pH balance.
