Who here has gone clothes shopping with kids?
Okay, now who had fun?
I think the idea of shopping trips with our daughters far exceed the reality. Thanks to Hollywood, we have these plans to maybe have some lunch, pick out a few outfits, have some laughs… which turns into 3 hours of whining because she wanted the blue shirt, but they didn’t have her size, and she wants to go play with her friends. Amiright?
Okay, maybe it’s not always that bad, but there’s a better way. Queue Kidpik – online shopping for your kids, but better.
Step 1. Go to www.Kidpik.com
Step 2. Fill out a simple style profile for your kid(s). This is where you’ll enter their sizes, plus you’ll also get to give some information about their style. You can choose outfits that they would wear, or better yet, let them help so they have a say in the clothes that come for them!
Step 3. Wait anxiously for delivery. Each month, or however often you choose, you get a customized box with super cute clothes, shoes, and accessories hand selected just for your kid!
Step 4. Let your kid have a fashion show. Because that’s the best way to try on a box of new clothes.
Step 5. Decide what to keep and what to send back. Go back to the website and check out. If you decide to keep everything, you get a 30% discount!
Here’s a breakdown of our box:
Headwrap – $1.50 // Pants – $17.50 // Purple tee – $10.50 // Hashtag tee – $16.50 // Floral dress – $29.50 // Sneakers – $29.50 // Silver jacket – $29.50 // Total: $134.50 // Keep all price – $94.15
Step 6. If you’re returning anything, put it in the pre-paid shipping bag that’s included in your box. Give it to your mail carrier within 7 days, and you’re done!
Did I mention that there are no shipping fees or charges to order a box? So even if you end up returning everything (not likely, but let’s do a hypothetical), you are out NOTHING. There’s no risk, no meltdowns, no stress, and you never have to leave your house. Or your wine.
