Slow Cooker Lasagna

This post is part of a social shopper marketing insight campaign with Pollinate Media Group and Barilla, but all opinions are my own. #pmedia #JoytotheTable
Things get hectic around my house, and every once in a while I need to turn to my old friend the slow cooker to take care of dinner. One of my favorite slow cooker meals is Lasagna! It’s so much easier to make in a slow cooker rather than using the oven, and tases so good!  Slow Cooker Lasagna 640x426 Slow Cooker Lasagna

The secret to the best slow cooker lasagna is using quality ingredients!  Barilla pasta is one that I always use becayce their pastas just don’t get overly starchy or gummy when you cook them. Their Marinara sauce is perfect for this recipe too!

Super Bowl Sunday Menu

Super Bowl Sunday is less than a week away and I can’t tell you how excited I am for this Super Bowl! Not only are the 49er’s in it this year (I’m a San Francisco Bay Area born and raised girl) but the Harbaugh brothers will be taking their teams head to head this year. So whether you are a fan of the 49ers and the Ravens or not, this is one Super Bowl you don’t want to miss. Even if you aren’t a football fan, watch it for the awesome commercials and for the amazing food that is about to be consumed. After all, Super Bowl food is unlike any other!

The menu for Super Bowl Sunday should be themed around finger foods! If you are hosting this year or heading over to a friend’s house, there is no reason you should be slaving away in the kitchen preparing a four-course meal. Keep it simple and keep it good! Here are some suggestions for your Super Bowl Sunday menu:

We devoured every last bit of this one and my husband wanted seconds. Since then, he keeps asking when I am going to make these again!
